Long-Term Care at Wentworth Manor begins with the person. Every resident arrives with their own history, preferences, and opinions, and our team takes the time to get to know every resident as individuals. From medication management to support with daily activities, our care team provides 24-hour nursing support tailored to each resident, so families can rest easy knowing their loved one is in capable and caring hands.
Long-Term Care
Care that feels like home
Room to settle in
Long-Term Care, known provincially as Continuing Care Type A, is located in The Court side of our building, which includes a secure neighbourhood for those residents who need one. Moving into Long-Term Care is a significant step, and we work to make the transition as gentle as we can. Residents are welcome to bring belongings that make the room feel like home, and lounges throughout the building give families somewhere comfortable to sit and visit.
Partnering with families for better care
Family involvement is central to how we approach care at Wentworth Manor. We keep communication open, welcome families into care decisions, and make sure each resident’s preferences, history, and values are reflected in their care plan. Families are welcome at any time.
